As part of the Barwon Health Dental Facility Expansion, our team was engaged to deliver comprehensive electrical infrastructure upgrades to support the growth of clinical services.
Delivered by our Geelong-based team with deep expertise in healthcare infrastructure, the scope of works included:
- Lighting Automation: Installation of a new C-Bus lighting automation system integrated with DALI-controlled light fittings, tailored for clinical environments to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and optimal visibility for dental procedures.
- Monitored Exit and Emergency Lighting System: In close collaboration with Clevertronics, we successfully integrated and commissioned additional monitored exit and emergency light fittings into the existing system, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance.
- Switchboard & Distribution Upgrades: Addition of two new Moulded Case Circuit Breakers in the site’s main switchboard, along with associated sub-mains cabling to two newly supplied distribution boards within the dental facility.
- Power Installation & Compliance: Full power installation in accordance with AS/NZS 3003:2018, including body-protected classified spaces across eight standard dental surgeries, one DDA-compliant dental surgery, and the OPG lab.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Close coordination with Alchemy Construct, Barwon Health’s project management team, and consultants to ensure all works met regulatory compliance and healthcare facility protocols.
